Coaching & The link between running & life

There is an inextricable link between running and life. When it comes to racing, there's a start line (the day you were born) and there's a finish line (the day that you cease to exist). Everybody moves from the start to the finish, some, sadly, drop out along the way, whilst others are faced with immense mental & physical challenges whilst en route that they need to overcome in order to keep moving forward. In many respects, a race, or even a training run, is the perfect metaphor for life because of this journey that you, as the individual, embark on.
I’ve learned so much about myself, life, relationships, my own body, and training methodologies and processes throughout my years of running and I want to share this with you.
I believe that running can help you unlock your latent potential, both physically and mentally.
I believe that running can help you cultivate some of the more meaningful relationships in your life.
I believe that running can help you live a healthier life. Not just physical health but rather an all-encompassing, holistic health.
I believe that running can help you show up as a better partner, friend, sibling, and/or parent.
I believe that running can demonstrate and reveal to you that you are capable of more than you think.
I believe all this to be true about running because I have experienced all of this firsthand and been witness to it in others too. My wish is to help others experience this and more through the high-touch, online running coaching service that is, The Long Run.
